Magnolia Place opened in 1996 and is a locally owned and operated, nonprofit organization. It donates all funds above operating costs back to the local community through other charitable organizations in UnionCity and Obion Count. Since we are nonprofit, we provide the most affordable assisted living in the area. We are hometown folks taking care of hometown folks.

Magnolia Place is a very warm and inviting atmosphere for you or your loved one. Our rooms are large and spacious with vaulted ceilings. We provide both long term and short term care.

The Obion County Public Library has been serving the area since the late 1930's. The collection was originally housed in the court house and has moved three times since then and is now located at 1221 E. Reelfoot Ave. The library averages over 2,000 patron visits a week and also contains the largest public library collection in West Tennessee outside of Jackson and Memphis. The mission of the Obion County Public Library is to enrich and improve the lives of the citizens of Obion County by providing them with a wide range of meaningful library materials and quality experiences.

Fast Pace Urgent CareFast Pace Urgent Care is here when you need us. We are open seven days a week with extended hours. Patients can be seen by a provider without an appointment and with short wait times. Our team provides treatment for illnesses, aches, pains, injuries, and trauma; onsite lab tests, X-rays, and stitches; occupational health services; and various health screenings, tests, and physicals. We are a proud supporter of the Union City community.

Small Business Spotlight - Union City Carpet CenterIn May of 1971, Woodrow Hardesty moved from Blytheville, Arkansas with his wife, Doris, and children, Rhonda, Debbie, and Woody, to Union City. After 25 years as a superintendent for Myers Bakers, he hoped that working with his brother installing carpet for Wade's Furniture and Moser and Jones Furniture stores would provide a stable standard of living for himself and his family.
