The Kenton Industrial Park contains up to 200 highly useable acres. The site is adjacent to two existing industries, Plastech, Inc. and Volunteer Plastics, Inc. The site is located on SR 45. SR 45 is currently a two-lane traffic corridor, but is scheduled to be fully four lanes within the ensuing three-year period. All public hearings have been held by the Tennessee TDOT, and the project is currently entering the design phase. The site is fully served by all needed infrastructure, to include the Gibson County Rail Authority. The rail authority's main line leads to Jackson, Tennessee, where is makes connection with the CSX Railroad main line. The site is level and would require little in the way of site preparation. The property can be subdivided or sold as a whole, and is available for immediate occupancy. The property is located less than 40 miles north of Jackson, TN, and I-40, 16 miles south of Union City, and will be within six miles of an I-69 interchange. The Regional Port facility at Cates Landing is within 30 miles, and the site is within 16 miles of air freight service. Municipal water is delivered to the site via a 12" main, two 300,000-gallon reservoirs offering in excess of 1.5 mgd per minute can be provided to the site. Power is provided to the site by Gibson County Electric, a regional TVA distributor. Natural gas is delivered to the site by an Atmos Energy main line along the western side of the property.
