Why did you join the Chamber?
The Chamber allows me the opportunity to work closely with a great group of business professionals across the County. From each month's Business Matters to Ribbon Cuttings and after hour engagements, it is a great way to engage with your community and fellowship with peers that love Obion County and enjoy seeing it thrive and grow.
Why do you serve as an Ambassador?
Being an Ambassador allows me the opportunity to go out in the community and speak with business professionals in all walks of life. It is interesting to sit down with people throughout the community and just talk with them about their careers, passions, and lives. You can learn a great deal about someone with a fifteen minute conversation! I am thankful that the Ambassador Program allows me the opportunity to do this.
What is the Chamber's role in the business community?
I feel that the Chamber helps facilitate networking opportunities for businesses through sponsored events. They play an intricate role in bringing businesses and working professionals together. When you bring these caring professionals together in our tight knit community, anything is possible. Lindsay and Lauren do a fantastic job at this. They sponsor a number of events throughout the County that gives everyone the opportunity to get involved. They also do a fantastic gob of communicating these events through radio, press, and social media.
Where do you envision Obion County in the next 10 years?
I hope to see continued growth in all areas of commerce within our community. After spending eight years in Jackson, l have been fortunate enough to move back and work in the community that I love in an area that I call home. From a financial perspective, l feel that l have been blessed with the opportunity to help facilitate this continued growth through my job and plan on doing everything that I can to help.
