Today I had the chance to speak with Julie Hill, owner of Historic Anns 1893 Wedding and Event Venue. Julie and her husband David bought the historic downtown Union City home in 2018 and have since transformed it into a BEAUTIFUL 5,000 square foot venue. The first thing I noticed as I walked in was the character that was in the home. You could instantly tell that there has been a lot of love (and probably blood, sweat, and tears) poured into this project.
While touring the home, I noticed so many unique qualities like the player piano that sits in the foyar, the incredible outdoor reception area, and especially the thought that had been put into every room. The second floor is truly made with a bridal party in mind. The venue has a full kitchen as well as a caterers kitchen that is perfectly placed for hosting a catered event. The great room on the front of the house is great for hosting a large group or holding an indoor wedding ceremony. My overall take away after meeting Julie and touring Historic Anns 1893 is that it is a breathtaking venue run by people who are incredibly kind. What a great asset to Obion County, TN!
