Where do you work?
Obion County Public Library. I am the Assistant Director as well as the Children's Coordinator.
What do you like about your job?
I love working with the public and getting to know the people who make up Obion County. I also enjoy the opportunity to instill a love for the library in Kids and Teens within our Community. We also have different events throughout the year that we love planning. We try to always have creative ways to engage both children and adults here at the library.
What do you love about Obion County?
I love the sense of community. No matter what is happening in my work life or personal there is always somebody who knows somebody that can help. I also love when I talk to people who aren't from the area and they comment about how at home they feel.
How do you envision Obion County in the next 10 years?
I like to envision Obion County as a place that my children love growing up and somewhere they would want to stay and raise their family.
Why is it important to be involved in your community?
It's important to be involved so that you can have a voice in the things that are happening and a voice for what you want to see for your community in the future.

What is on your bucket list these days?
Read all the books on my book list and time for a vacation with my family.
